Mild Bronchitis

Poor baby had contracted with mild bronchitis, he had been coughing for 3 weeks but the cough wasn't really intensive so just fed him with some medications and vitamins. Until we went to the pediatrician, then he told us that his lungs is making squeaking sound.

He have to undergo some treatment 3 times per day and see how is his recovering rate, but I hope it will be great:)
This is just some medication that have to be taken through the respiratory organs for more effective result.

What is bronchitis?
Bronchitis is inflammation of the main air passages to the lungs. Bronchitis may be short-lived (acute) or chronic, meaning that it lasts a long time and often recurs.

Causes, incidence, risk factors

Acute bronchitis generally follows a viral respiratory infection. At first, it affects your nose, sinuses, and throat and then spreads to the lungs. Sometimes, you may get another (secondary) bacterial infection in the airways.This means that bacteria infect the airways, in addition to the virus.

People at risk for acute bronchitis include:

The elderly, infants, and young children

Persons with heart or lung disease

Smokers

Chronic bronchitis is a long-term condition. People have a cough that produces excessive mucus. To be diagnosed with chronic bronchitis, you must have a cough with mucus most days of the month for at least 3 months.

Chronic bronchitis is one type of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD for short. (Emphysema is another type of COPD.)

The following things can make bronchitis worse:

Air pollution

Allergies

Certain occupations (such as coal mining, textile manufacturing, or grain handling)

Infections

Symptoms

The symptoms of either type of bronchitis may include:

Chest discomfort

Cough that produces mucus; if it's yellow-green, you are more likely to have a bacterial infection

Fatigue

Fever -- usually low

Shortness of breath worsened by exertion or mild activity

Wheezing

Even after acute bronchitis has cleared, you may have a dry, nagging cough that lingers for several weeks.

Additional symptoms of chronic bronchitis include:

Ankle, feet, and leg swelling

Blue-colored lips from low levels of oxygen

Frequent respiratory infections (such as colds or the flu)

Signs and tests

The health care provider will listen to your lungs with a stethoscope. Abnormal sounds in the lungs called rales or other abnormalbreathing sounds may be heard.

Tests may include:

Chest x-ray

Lung function tests provide information that is useful for diagnosis and your outlook.

Pulse oximetry helps determine the amount of oxygen in your blood. This quick and painless test uses a device that is placed onto the end of your finger. Arterial blood gas is a more exact measurement of oxygen and carbon dioxide levels, but it requires a needle stick and is more painful.

Sputum samples may be taken to check for signs of inflammation or bacterial infection.

Treatments

You DO NOT need antibiotics for acute bronchitis caused by a virus. The infection will generally go away on its own within 1 week. Take the following steps for some relief:

Do not smoke

Drink plenty of fluids

Rest

Take aspirin or acetaminophen (Tylenol) if you have a fever. DO NOT give aspirin to children

Use a humidifier or steam in the bathroom

If your symptoms do not improve, your doctor may prescribe an inhaler to open your airways if you are wheezing. If your doctor thinks that you have a secondary bacterial infection, antibiotics may be prescribed. Most of the time, antibiotics are not needed or recommended.

For any bronchitis, the most important step you can take is to QUIT smoking. If bronchitis is caught early enough, you can prevent the damage to your lungs.

Expectations (Progonsis)

For acute bronchitis, symptoms usually go away within 7 to 10 days if you do not have an underlying lung disorder. However, a dry, hacking cough can linger for a number of months.

The chance for recovery is poor for persons with advanced chronic bronchitis. Early recognition and treatment, combined with smoking cessation, significantly improve the chance of a good outcome.

Complications

Pneumonia can develop from either acute or chronic bronchitis. If you have chronic bronchitis, you are more likely to develop recurrent respiratory infections. You may also develop:

Emphysema
Right-sided heart failure or cor pulmonale
Pulmonary hypertension

Calling your health care provider

Call your doctor if:

You have a cough most days or you have a cough that returns frequently
You are coughing up blood
You have a high fever or shaking chills
You have a low-grade fever for 3 or more days
You have thick, greenish mucus, especially if it has a bad smell
You feel short of breath or have chest pain
You have an underlying chronic illness, like heart or lung disease

Preventions

DO NOT smoke.
Get a yearly flu vaccine and a pneumococcal vaccine as directed by your doctor.
Reduce your exposure to air pollution.
Wash your hands (and your children's hands) frequently to avoid spreading viruses and other infections.

Been a long time since the last time we had a class gathering like that. Last year of our polytechnic life, and off we go, our separate ways after that not knowing if we ever meet up like that again.

Polytechnic had definitely been an enjoyable parcel of my life, enjoying every bits of it, even the torturous Final Year Project, as I knew there is much more torture that I have to go through after this.

Day 2 -5

Phuket 5 Days 4 Nights 2011-06-18 - 2011-06-22

After an exciting ride on an elephant and some real bullets range shooting, it's time for the nature.

Sleepyhead. It's 730am in Phuket.

Out to the sea, on a speedboat. The speedboat experience is awesome, an hour ride to PhiPhi island of Phuket.

Sceneries.

Swallows' cave. Some bird nests are obtained from here, we are prohibited to enter so we only took some pictures from far.

Fishes in the sea. We did snorkeling too, surrounded by them when you are in the water. Super scary for me! Only managed to stay in the water for like 5 minutes? Escaped to the boat when it came surrounding me.

Relaxing.

The "monkey island", that's what they call it, forgotten the actual island name. This island is filled with monkeys!

Day 1 Part 2

Phuket 5 Days 4 Nights 2011-06-18 - 2011-06-22

Headed straight to the elephant sculpture when he saw it in the restaurant during lunch.

Off we go after lunch to the "half day City tour" we purchased earlier on in the airport.

The first stop, elephant school.

The elephant ride we gonna take, it's expensive, $30++ per pax for 30 mins total trip.

15 mins to and 15 fro.

The elephant ride was scary! It's high, wobbly (due to the seat), and we are on the mountain for your information.

We set off for other activities before heading for dinner.

Phuket 5 Days 4 Nights 2011-06-18 - 2011-06-22

The first day PART 1

Early flight in the morning at 8 plus, M.K surprised me with his super duper fast reaction when I was trying to wake him up at 6am.

Me: "Matt, wake up. We need to prepare and go to the airport soon. You want to take the plane?"

M.K: *Super fast reaction* "Oh, Ok, I wake up already."

LOL.

Seated on the plane and waiting for it to fly. Btw, this is M.K's first flight experience.

F.I.L bought a 2 days tour package when we were in the Phuket airport, so for the schedule for the first 2 days are kind of planned. And as for expected, first trip is to the elephant school.

Attended baby covier first month celebration, he's uber tiny and cute, congrats Sylvia. His feet is only 1/4 of M.K's feet which is already small to me, hmm, I don't remember M.K being so tiny. Anws, my mischievous boy had fun there as he got to play with a little girl there. Hoho else he'll be bored.

Time really files, been through a lot and things had changed too. Talking to Francesca outside the band room when I was primary 2 and her introducing Felicia to me when we were primary 4 is still vivid in my mind. Things were used to be much purer, simpler.

Hey Fel, if you happen to read, do you still remember the FY fashion school we use to talk about that we wanna build when we were younger? And Francesca, do you still remember that you made me cry because you hit my breast on purpose? Haha.

Wonder what will we turn to be when we are in our thirties? Even if we may not be the closest friends anymore, we should still keep in touch so that we can reminisce the past together when we are old as not much of people can share memories as young as that age.

Back to topic, once again HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY.

Leash? or not to leash?

Leash?

Or not to leash?

I just happened to came across comments on leashed kids again therefore decided to write about how I feel about it. I may not be right but at least show 2 sides of the story instead of 1.

Many comments like, "WTH, they leashed their kids? They must be some crazy parents" or " Are they even treated like humans?" just because you got your kids leashed.

Well, I do agree that me myself doesn't like the idea of getting my kid leashed as I felt that they are treated like an animal in such a way too, but have you ever thought of the other side of the story?

Grandparents, which is your parents, or even your own grandparents, which is their great grand parents.

Some people might got married young, like me, therefore their parents are still as fit and able to chase after your kids when they get curious and start walking, running about the mall. But have you thought of the older ones? Do you think they have the energy to start chasing your kids for you around everywhere?

There will be some comments like,

1. Then teach your child, educate them not to run around.

2. Then don't let the elders bring them out, why do you want to tired them by asking them take care of your kids.

But let me tell you,

1. Yes, we of course have to educate our kids. But have you ever thought that restraining them too much became the way you treat you pets too? The difference between a pet and human is we have a mind of our own, our own thinking, opinions. Don't tell me you don't know that your kids have a mind of their own. We sure can advise them, educate them that running around will cause them to get hurt, lost and even to the extend that not being able to find them back.

But think again, did your parents told you this once before? In the end what did you do? You still run around, walk around, but maybe check back from time to time that is your parents still with you? BECAUSE KIDS ARE CURIOUS. They are curious about everything they see, hear, feel and taste. Being a parent, what can we do? When we start realizing that they are walking or running away, we could either call them back, reprimand that for making you worry, or either chase after them, follow behind their back see where are they going, what did they saw?

All these requires energy, too much of chasing strains you moreover your parents and grandparents.

2. If you say that it's cruel to let them take care of your child or allow them to bring them out alone as this is to straining. Then think again, aren't you depriving their times with their grandchild or great grand child? Don't you think that they sometimes also want to have some time alone with their grand child or great grand child, just a short walk in the garden or some younger grandparents would want to bring them out for a short while to play?

Does leashing really makes you a pet? or turn you into an animal?

Or safety is the concern for you?

A mother carry a baby with a toddler crossing a road. Isn't it safer that the toddler is leashed than holding his/her hand as they might just slip their hands off and dash across the road.

There is many examples and arguments that can be made, but there really right or wrong?

To what I feel, is your mindset when doing something. What do think you are doing?

For the safety of your kids because you just love them to much that you do not want them to get hurt that's why you leash them or because you just think that they are a bunch of untamed animals that have to be tame in such a way that how you tame your pets at home?

You can't really tell what is the person thinking when doing something therefore sometimes it is just too early or too difficult to judge.

Chinese new year

Matthias started off my post by greeting everyone a happy Chinese new year.

First day of Chinese new year with sister.

First day of Chinese new year was a busy day. Played mahjong with Francesca on new year's eve till 3 plus am then woke up at 8am for morning mass.
House visiting till 10pm with a short break in between.

No photos for 2nd day.
Short visiting day, then off for I love hong kong at Cathay.

3rd day, relaxing at home, went for grocery shopping then off for the great great world. Better than I love hong kong.

4th day.

Bored at relative house while Matthias was swimming.

After this weekends, I've to face reality and really start bucking up for my common tests and exams. 3 papers straight in a row next week for common test, then 1 week break after that. 3 exam papers coming after that. Stress stress :(

Once after exams, have to wait for attachment posting, no holiday:( Looking forward to my Bangkok trip and hope my attachment boss doesn't mind. Hees hees.

Went for the dinosaur exhibition, thinking that it would be quite a grand one but in the end was just a small circle with 4 dinosaurs in it.

But what to expect? It was only $2 to enter that.(Not including the fees to science centre)

No photos was taken as photography was not allowed.

First time out to the ZOO with Matthias alone.

Adventurous trip with Matthias today.

I brought him to the ZOO myself. ONLY MYSELF.

With his tiny green bag packed with 3 diapers, 2 t-shirts, 1 shorts, wet wipes, tissues and his hand carried water bottle, we set off to the ZOO at near 12nn.

We first took a bus, 138, from the bus stop outside our house then we bought "barangs" upon reaching our destination, THE ZOO *_*

Bought insect repellent which costed $7 and a packet of biscuits which cost $2.20 (you can buy out for <$1).

Everything in the ZOO is just so expensive. What to do? It's all for the kid.

Being a mama, I grabbed a O.R fillet burger and set off with cheeky and excited Matthias into the ZOO after we bought the ticket.

Chew and bite, just to make sure I finish it fast so we can have a easy journey. (He had his lunch, not me)

(He saw a tourist taking a photo, thus wanted to imitate, asked me to take a photo for him too)

It was so close to get a good picture.

(A hippo opening his mouth while Matt is standing near it. *Trying to make it look like the hippo is trying to eat him. BUT......

A weird old man groaned while the hippo open his mouth which shocked Matthias and frighten him. He dare not stand beside the hippo to take photo after that. :( )

He asked me to take photo of hippo instead of him.

Managed to convince him to take with a fake hippo.

I forgot what is this.

He goes "doink doink" whenever you mention about kangaroos.

Keep nagging at me to watch the elephant show. Thus arrived 30 mins earlier to get a seat.

ZEBRA!

Giraffe.

Gave a shot to feed the giraffe but he was frighten by the giraffes' long tongues and the snatching competition it having for the food.

Beside feeding the giraffes, he tried feeding the elephants too.

He used to feed elephants, but this time round I don't know why he's afraid of doing so.

He asked me to allow him to feed the elephants, and so I did.

After paying the $5, we went in, first attempt to feed the elephant became disastrous.

He stretched his hand, attempting to reach the elephant, then suddenly when the trunk reached him he got so frighten that he threw the food into the water and hug on to my leg shivering and screaming "MOMMY".

I had to finish the feeding for him. This is not all.

We exit the feeding area, he then started pleading me again to allow him to feed the elephants again.

Being a kind mother, I did. I paid $10, because I got no change, and they do not offer change so what to do? I bought 2, repeat, 2 baskets of fruits. Thinking that he will feed, and if he did, well its worth making him happy and satisfied.

Guess what? He refused to feed the elephants and keep asking me to feed instead. Pulling my hand into the basket to grab fruit to feed the elephants. AND OF COURSE I'M MAD. @.@

I finished the feedings in the end again.

WHY AM I MAD? I PAID $15 TO FEED THE ELEPHANTS MYSELF? I MIGHT AS WELL STAND THERE AND LET HIM WATCH OTHERS FEED INSTEAD. Okay even if he wants to watch me feed, once is enough, don't have to go to the extend that I've to feed 3 portions of fruits.

After feeding, he wanted to seat near the elephants to watch them eat. While I was unlocking my phone to complain to my husband, a splash suddenly splashed on to me and Matt's face. We were both shocked looking at each other. The zoo keeper came and apologize of the sudden splash as we didn't to expect it while others expected it.

Funny scene, imagine yourself, (Me, the mother, stunned face. Matthias, a 2 years old, stunned face. Both looking at each other. The mother, me, took a packet of tissue papers, pulled one for son, both continued to be stunned. Matt, son, wipes his face, me, Mother, wipes my phone, turned and looked at each other, STUNNED.) Hahaha.

Well, we did enjoyed ourselves with the elephants thou. Especially the elephants ride, which Matthias enjoyed a lot. Saw a funny scene after a ride too.

The other elephants the others were riding, suddenly boweled and urinated. It's urine is like a gush of water gushing out the tap, an enormous tap, then you can hear it's trainer keep asking it to "tahan". LOL. Interesting. (If I were the elephant, I would tell him, I stomachache, tried to tahan but now cannot tahan already!!!) ^_^

Purchased a photo of us riding the elephants but lazy to scan in, will scan in for the next post.

Ended our day with the sea lion show. Happy Matthias is sleeping now.

Hees, try blogging using my phone to blog instead as I use my phone more often then a computer and also because most photos are taken through the phone.
Our air tickets and hotels are finally settled and I'm looking forward to it until one day I received a email stating that I've to submit my CV along of GPA result for attachment interview.
I was shocked as I didn't expect attachment would be so soon, but it's also because I'm under flip flop B which means second half of year 3 then I'll be taking my specialization after I've already finish attachment and FYP!?
Anyways, I'm just suppose to inform my supervisor from the company I'm attached to of my absence.
Let's hope that they'll not kick me back to school. *cross fingers*

Matthias is ill again, as usual too much heaty stuffs. Chocolates, tibits and stuffs. Such naughty boy.

7 March would be the official vacation for this semester, woots. Hope to be able to go shopping in bangkok with Francesca and visit hong kong disneyland with Matthais:)

It had been a busy week, with lots of fun and love:)
Went for kite flying session with XueMin, HuiYee, ShanEn, WangRui & Hubby yesterday.
Was kinda disappointing though as my kite was up in the sky for less than 1 min before landing on the top of a real tall tree at marina barrage.
Left as early as 4pm as we're meeting my Francesca babe for movie "The tourist", interesting movie.

None of my project is done, and this is already the last day of 2010.
Nothing special to me, but kinda hinting me that I'm nearing to my deadline for all my projects soon:(
What to do for the last day of 2010?
Nothing special, but just a movie "YOGI Bear" with family, which includes Matthias, (The reason for choosing this movie) then the long 8 minutes of fireworks display *woots, my favorite".

Slight update of Matthias progress:

He's now 2 years and 1 month old.
Pick things up real fast.
Lazy like his daddy and mommy.
Can make up excuses to avoid doing something. E.g. ask him to keep his toys. His hands were empty initially, but purposely carry his bolster, elephants and tell you that his hands are full so he's unable to keep his toys.
A real glutton.
In love with animals, especially elephants, giraffes, dinosaurs, tigers and lions.
Lot of questions to ask like always.
Likes to sleep on mommy and daddy's bed.
ETC.

It's 2 a.m, and I'm facing the computer not knowing what to do. Total boredom.
Went for shoulders massage with dad and tot along with his mum and aunt. It was really hurting, my shoulders are sore right now. That masseur said that I shouldn't carry baby too often as my shoulders are really very stiff, but what to do, doesn't this occurs to all mothers. I bet those mother in olden days don't even get the chance to get a massage, so I'm already fortunate.

The interest in studies is getting lower when I see clearer of my future. I have to choose between work and kids which I would definitely choose the kids option as that's my true responsibility. It's not that I'll be a housewife or so, just that I don't see the vision of myself being there up high with some high ranking in some big shot company. I only seeing myself having a ordinary job with an ordinary pay but definitely still some significant amount, not amount that just enough to survive with.

I have dreams for my family, not myself, so what does that means? RELIANCE.
What if something goes wrong? I've to rely on myself, start all over again as the priority would be different then. But what to do, life is a gambling game. P/S: There's this kind hearted person who sent me to the MRT station said that my life is destined to be a mistress of someone or a second marriage of my partner. I do not believe him, but it definitely bothers me. Which part of me looks like a mistress of someone? And I LOVE MY FAMILY, MY CURRENT LIFE.<3<3<3 I'm not sure if my husband does, because I'm not him.

Come to think of it, I've not return my working pass to my ex supervisor. Irritating. Maybe I shall nag at my husband to return for me. Hees.

12 December 2010 was my baby's first performance in life!

He was supposed to dance the YOG Singapore's Cheer but ended up most of his classmates was stoning on stage. HEHE!

At least he danced for the first 30 seconds or so.

This first picture of him was the funniest scene of the day. Taken after his segment, the presentation of present to the playgroup. Initially, he didn't want to move out of the backstage as I was behind with him to comfort him when he was crying towards in the of the performance.

I "pushed" him out of the stage, asked him to go to his teacher as they were already calling for him, in the end, he went to the center of the stage on his own. This is his stunted look. LOL!

Oh no! He spotted me! :) That's when he starts to cry for me.

Matthias Darling is walking super well now.
Mischievous and kinda demanding thou.
But I can't hold my laughter back when I see him throwing tantrums when I refuse to give him what he wants.
He'll sit on the floor, with his legs half stretched out and bend his body forward and cry. But he'll walk away after some time when we ignore him. Funny isn't it?

His second teeth is coming very soon.
I can see it budding!!!
He can't speak still thou, but expressive.
He imitates me when I sing the barney famous " I love you" song.
He dances and clap when he hears music.
He points to what he wants.
He complains by mumbling his baby language.
He tries to make friends with other children when we're out.
He kiss with his mouth close, no longer kissing with open mouth.
He finally can control his strength when he "sayang" people.
He can drink on his own.
He loves to disturb daddy when daddy is sleeping.
He roll all over the bed when he can't sleep or trying to sleep.
He loves his beanbag and bolster.
He doesn't take much pacifier now compared to when he's younger.
He's more observant.
He wants to hold the shower head when he bathes.
He is learning to take the stairs on his own, although he knows how to "crawl" up now.
He knows how to play with the dog at home, Winnie.
He'll cry when on one is with him when Roy, the bigger dog, barks.
He knows how to wave goodbye and blow kisses.
He is greedy over food and wants to eat whatever we're eating.
He knows how to pretend eating by pinching something and make the eating sound while putting inside his mouth although his hand is empty.
He knows how to feed others, provided you don't mind the fact that his saliva is all over his hand.
He whines when we wake him up from his beauty sleep.

This is all I can remember. My baby is growing and doing great. Just that HE STILL CAN'T SAY MUMMY but only DADDY! So unfair. I love him more lo.

Back from Malaysia's Trip and finally done my CMath paper today.
Overall was not too bad, just some careless mistake here and there.

Malaysia wasn't fun as I thought it should be as we kept lost our way and I can't communicate in Malay which is kinda deadly for me as most of the people there I came across are Malays.

The first day when we reached, we spent 2 hours to search for the resort as the road signs are unclear. According to Hui Yee, the road there had changed but not the sign. When we finally reach the resort, it was already 3pm when we set off on 11am. We had lunch in between for around an hour of course. But when we check in for our room we were told that the room was under cleaning. After waiting for around 30 mins, we were to tired and impatient so we went up to the room. To our amaze, no one had started cleaning the room at all.

After settling down, I brought Matthias along for a dip alone:(
It was fun to see my baby enjoying the water and trying to swim.
That was my experience of the first day.

The second day, after breakfast, we went to a nearby mall for a walk.
Bought shoes for Matthias and some necessities for all.
Went back to the resort for lunch and dip again with Matthias, but this time round daddy is around. And Matthias slept from around 6pm to the next morning after that. WOOT!

HOME SWEET HOME after breakfast and some shopping at another nearby mall at around 3.30pm. Prepared and went to church, cooked Matthias new food, ABC123 pasta for dinner. Went for FENG YUN at Bishan at 8pm with daddy as he wanted to watch a lot, but the storyline turns out bad:( Such a disappointment.
Home and study for my CMATH after that:)

P/S: The file size of Matthias' birthday photos are too big for blogger, therefore I've to re-size them first. As it takes time so please be patient.

Hello, I'm back with a new blog skin:)

Matthias is now 1 years old, and I have lots of pictures taken on his birthday although those taken by Benjamin's camera had been corrupted and gone, but there's still quite a few in his dad's camera. Shall find a chance to upload all of them.

Had a pretty normal week.
It was mostly about going to school and visiting Matt after school.

Tuesday

Visited Matt as usual. Tagged along with mum and family to ikea, Tampines, to get some stuff and for dinner.It had been some time when I last ate the beef and pork balls, yum.Matt had some fries while Benjamin had spaghetti, dad, sis and bro had chicken wings and mom pinching the food on the table.Matt and bro bought quite a few soft toys from ikea and set off to Giants which is very near ikea. Got some cable tie to keep the television cables neat and some 3M hooks for the room.Dad sent us home and separated with Matt and off to bed.

Wednesday

Had early dismissal therefore met Pelyn and baby Jesse to causeway point for lunch and catch up.Matt is now totally a super hyper active baby, he can't sit still for long, keep fidgeting and screaming ( his way of complaining and wanting things) throughout the meal.Had baked rice in Pizza hut for the day and Matt had some fries ( super oily, only ate like 2 or 3) while Pelyn had spaghetti.Took a bus back to mom's place and asked Benjamin to get dinner for mom instead of me buying in causeway, there was way too much things to handle.

Friday

Had OOP quiz but there's some technical problem for my case and caused me to get 0 for this test, but definitely this quiz is not taken as part of my result or else it would be super unfair to me.Cause of this problem? I don't know, but I think is the way I managed the program? It's our first time using heucampus to do our quiz so I meddled with it a bit.The job finally called and confirm me, super delighted. I finally can take my car license soon, should be starting next year and on the other hand Shan En just passed her TP test on Thursday. ARRGGH!17November will not be attend school as I need to go for theory lesson for the job but it's only once on weekdays, so should be alright.

IMPORTANT!

After bringing Matt for a swim at Grassroot club on Monday, Tuesday we went shopping at Woodlands Causeway Point with Mummy and Wednesday, which was yesterday, visited Pelyn and little Jesse.Matt looks like a giant beside little Jesse, Matt was so excited to see little baby, he kept wanting to touch him but I tried to refrain it as he's a bit rough, as in not gentle, perhaps VERY ROUGH. haha.Matt seems to grow much taller, yesterday night before sleeping, I was observing him for a short while. He seems to occupy much more space of the bed then before. Time files, 1 more month Matt will be having his 1st year celebration.Don't really have any idea of how to celebrate it for him, any ideas people?Bought an iPhone yesterday too, sold my N97 as it was horrible.The phone kept offing by itself and the wiFi kept turning on by itself, the menu font size kept increasing and decreasing by itself and lastly the camera is not fantastic, worst than a 2 megapixel phone.All the above comment is only my personal comment, do not take it too seriously as different phone has different qualities and problems even the same model.Perhaps I'm getting older or less materialistic, I don't feel delighted after getting new phones, gadgets or normal items which I do feel a lot in the past. The excitement of getting a new item, keep wanting to look and meddle with it, but now no longer.Matt had learn a lot of things, now when u ask where is something, he will show by looking/staring at the item.He listens and understood more of what I said, he shows, expresses.He's really growing:) My little baby is growing:) AWWW. Been uploading photos the past few days without much text, so I shall text today:)Been cooping at home ever since I'm back from Taiwan, which is really boring. Options for this: Is it okay if I send Matty to my mum's place every morning before school and pick him after school every weekdays, but working at 2 weekdays till around 11pm-12am from 6pm and working at weekends from 1pm to around 7pm which can provides me paid up to $1200 per month? There's alot of thing on my mind, but I can't rely financially too much on others. I wanna take driving lessons, I wanna send Matty for enrichment lessons, I wanna pay his necessities on my own, I wanna shop, and I wanna save money.But my conscience is eating me up, it makes me feels that I'm not suppose to leave matty alone like that, I should spent more time with him especially on sundays. But I do not think that the job im applying allows me to be off on sunday and this will also decrease my pay by 1/4. oh gosh! Other side of me is thinking, hey you know it is alright as there's 3 weekdays that you'll be spending with him, especially on school holidays you can bring him out right? Not necessary to be on sunday. By the time he attends nursery and needs you on weekends you'll already be working a normal job. So don worry. But I can't really accept neither one of them, I don't know what i'm thinking. Fuck it.

Missed RCIA session today again, been missing it 5 times if I includes today in it.
The first 3 of this 5 was because of H1N1, the last time was because I was too tired and overslept and this round because Grandpa came over to visit my little babyMatty.
This is not the main reason for the missing of church, the main reason is I am trying to avoid it internally.
As days passed and getting nearer and nearer to baptism, I just felt that I am not really ready for all this, I do not want it for the sake of wanting it in order to please everyone, it makes me feels bad.
In fact, skipping of church today makes me feels bad but attending it makes me feels uneasy, it's not about the session, I liked the way it is, it is just about me.
I have not read the bible, and I feel that the first thing I should do is just to read the bible first, should I quit RCIA?
Maybe I should!
This should not be something to rush about, GOD will not rush me, will HE?
It just feels that is not the right time now. HMM...

Matt is sick again! Why does he always get sick when he comes back home?
Is it the environment, the house is dirty(it's too messy to really tidy it up, to me there's too much junks in the house), or it just simply that Matt has a mother that does not know how to take care of him well.
Matt had a super bad night yesterday, I do not know why was he that moody, he cried the whole night!
Refused to let others to carry except "gong gong" but of course I have my ways to coax him too.
Slept only at around 230 am. Poor Matty, cried till so pathetic. Heartache eh.
Am I really that bad? A bad caretaker I mean.
Why doesn't matt like it when I took care of him?

Matthias is going to be 9 months old in another few days time.
His progress is tremendous.
1.He will find support to allow him to stand up by himself.
2.He fakes cough to attract attention.
3.He loves to call daddy alot when he sees him but no mummy for me.
4.He claps his hand with "yay".
5.He knows how to "gong xi" with his little hands.
6.He'll kiss me when I pout my lips for him to kiss.
7.He scratches his ear alot, there's rashes, I don't know why, can someone give some opinion?
8.He likes to walk with people holding him for support.
I feel that there's something wrong with the room instead of the bed.
Okay, let me explain.
When matt sleeps in the night, he scratches his ear alot and flip around looking very uncomfortable.
His back of his ear and head will be all red.(He's definately not hot, because the aircon is on)

Gastric pain, perhaps is due to the medicine and porridge this few days.
Not enough solid food of digestion.

I am hungry and bored.
Had been eating porridge for the past 2 days for 3 meals.
I want to eat fast food! I want to eat Pizza! I want to eat Prata! I want to eat Ice Cream! I want to go out!
Sorry to say that, there'll be no photo for the week as baby Matty is not around and I'm not supposed to go out.

Tortured and missing my Matthias

My fever had already subsided last night, but my throat is sore and pain.
It hurts so much that I woke up twice to drink water and suck the lozenges.
My head is spinning, my body is weak and having muscle ache.
This is freaking torturous.
The last time I had high fever was when I was carrying Matthias for the 4th month.
I stayed in the hospital for 4 days as my fever didn't subside, that was the most torturous event that ever happened to me.
Yes, it is more torturous than giving birth to Matthias.
Staying in the hospital was hell to me, everyone is busy working and I only get to see them in the night for that barely 1-2 hours.
I couldn't sleep at night as the air conditioner temperature was freaking 20degree and I wasn't allow to get another blanket as the nurses say they are trying to bring my temperature down by cooling by body. I was practically shivering.
The more I stay in bed, the weaker I feel.
Am I thinking to much, or is it my subconscious telling me that I am sick that is why I need to feel weak?
I miss my baby.
Oh, did I say what happened that night he slept with me when I was sick?
Actually I didn't mean that he slept beside me but his cot is beside me, so it's indirectly sleeping beside me.
But at 1 am he was consistenly flipping left to right, so I carried him on to my bed as I feel that he was feeling hot.
Indeed I was correct, he laid in my bed and struggled for 5 mintues, he was sleeply soundly again while I was lying below their feets.
I moved the small fan next to his bed and cooled the place for arounf 5-10mintues before returning him to his own bed.
He was sleeping soundly until 5 in the morning I found him standing in his cot looking at me with his blur face.
Haha!
He was hungry!
Fed him and he fell asleep again.
Until 9am, he stood in his bed and was calling for me again!
He wants milk and play.
Fed him and carried him over to in-laws' room. That was the last time I had close contact with him.
Babies at this age are just so cute.

H1N1 a.k.a Swine flu

I was diagnosed today with H1N1 flu based on clinical symptoms which is high fever, sore throat and flu.
My fever was 39 degree and given 7 days MC.
I will miss my Networking Implemention Project's assignment on Thursday which cost me 60% and Digital Electronic's common test on Friday which cost me 40%.:(
Parents in law sent Matty off after I was diagnosed, I will not be able to see him for 7 days:(
I'm now worried for him as he slept with me last night when I was having fever, I thought it was cause by a weird mosquito bite I got from somewhere, but the doctor say it may be only local reaction and my fever may not have any linkage with it.
Matty is only 8.5 months, he will be in danger if he get it, so pray hard that he'll be fine.
I'm too tired to study for my exam. #(&*^*(

Blogger has been giving me troubles on uploading photos and even blogging with text itself, thus I've decided to change to onSugar on XueMin's influence.
I was sick for the past few day, had been having sore throat, but I'm better now:)
I failed my Digital Electronic lab test, I got 0 output out of 8 as I forgot to power up the other 2 chips beside the on I've powered up.
I'm having exam week now and do not have to return to school for 3 days, Monday-Wednesday.
I'll be having a lab assignment on Thursday and Digital Electronic theory common test on Friday, wish me good luck people.
Matthias was also sick for 3 days, but now he's almost fully recovered.
My mother says he's progress is a bit slow but it is okay as not all babies will progress equally fast.
Just hoping that Matthias will call Mummy real soon, he's already 8.5months.:(

I'm had a problem opening the "New post" page using Internet explorer on my laptop, I wonder do you have the same problem? I am using Mozilla Firefox now.

First, I think I should update about naughty and mischievous Matthias.
1. He's more greedy towards food, especially food that is not meant for him, he will get angry if you do not give it to him.
2. He had learnt how to stand in his cot with support from the cot. I had already lower it down.
3. He seek much more attention than before, but he still cute.
4. He do lots of funny faces, and smiles a lot, even at strangers. This makes me worry that he will follow strangers away when he is older.

Retarded ribbons day!

AGIAN, I skipped school and stay at home.
This scenerio is similar the last time when Benjamin volunteered to take care of Matthias.
But he didn't get the chance to do so AGAIN.

My mood was horrible in the morning.
Everything was so screwed.
It seems like I can't find anything that I want or need, searched like a mad women in the house.
Totally spoilt my mood, and partly because I didn't sleep well.
Therefore I changed back to my home clothes and sleep.

Matthias is getting more and more mischievious and he definitely love to "SA JIAO".
Keep going "EHEH" when he "SA JIAO", so cute.
Benjamin say he look like a king enjoying his back scratching when he laid flat on his chest for me to scratch him. HEHE!

WHEN CAN HE CALL MUMMY???

P/S: He can call dah dah and at time dah di (daddy).*_*
